Several insiders are saying that video game publisher THQ has officially canceled all long term projects (including the Warhammer 40k MMO) and that executives are now focused on positioning the company for a firesale at some point in the very near future. In other words, this could be the end of the brand completely.
Unfortunately, this makes a lot of sense. THQ’s earnings have been in a slide for close to a year now due to poor sales on big budget titles like Red Faction: Armageddon.
It should be interesting to see which properties are picked up by other publishers. THQ is a direct partner to the UFC, WWE, and Disney among others.

red faction Arma was way too streamlined compared to the last game and went in a totally different direction
but that doesnt mean it wasnt fun as shit
It was a great game, I agree.
It doesn’t hold a candle to Guerrilla, though.
Do they have other properties that are worth saving? (Metro 2033 was published by them, but other than that only Homefront II could save them I guess, IF Crytek makes it a better game…)
