Rockstar has confirmed that Max Payne 3 will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 15, 2012 in North America and May 18, 2012 internationally; and for the PC on May 29, 2012 in North America and June 1, 2012 internationally.

The game features a campaign that follows the former New York detective into the streets of São Paulo, Brazil in addition to a brand new multiplayer component – a first for the series.
