Genius set up. My only complaints in AC terms is there’s no function to bring the blade in with the same hand that ‘Drew’ it (Maybe set it up on a counter string so that when you pull your wrist back down, the blade automatically retracts? I’m not sure how one would set that sort of mechanism up without conflicting with the lock of the blade itself.) and the blade is so small that it’s functional overkill for a tiny shank.
There’s this guy who made a functional two-way mechanism with rapid-prototyped parts. Totally awesome stuff either way.
