A source claiming to have access to an iPad 3 prototype leaked screenshots of the device’s specs, which were measured using a development tool called iBoot, to the folks at BGR. It appears to be a legitimate leak. Perhaps the most interesting detail is that it will run on an A6 chip, making it several leaps and bounds faster than the iPad 2.
