Crapping all over the Transformers legacy wasn’t enough for Michael Bay. He’s now turned his attention to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Bay, who is handling the live action film reboot for Nickelodeon, has decided to change the background story by making everyone’s favorite mutants aliens instead of just by-products of radioactive ooze.

This has obviously sent fans into a frenzy. It’s even got a couple of the original film’s voice actors upset. Robbie Rist, voice of Michaelangelo, said, ”You probably don’t know me but I did some voice work on the first set of movies that you are starting to talk about sodomising.” Bay’s response? “Fans need to chill.”
