Guy Pearce is in talks to join Sir Ben Kingsley and Robert Downey, Jr. for the final chapter in the Iron Man saga.

Pearce, whose most recent film Lockout fell flat on its face in theaters when it opened a few weeks ago, is set to take on the role of geneticist Aldrich Killian if he signs on. Killian is a villain in the Extremis series of Iron Man comics.

But before we watch Pearce sell his secrets to terrorists in a bid to kill Tony Stark, he’s playing the brief but powerful role of Peter Weyland in Ridley Scott’s epic Prometheus. (I’m personally looking forward to that far more than this.)
