Sony is finally responding to the long-running, “Buy a Windows laptop, get a free Xbox,” deal that Microsoft has been offering up to college students for the last few years with a promo of their own: buy a brand new Sony VAIO laptop and get your pick of a free PS3 or a PS Vita.

Not a bad deal if you need a new laptop. I’d be all over the free PS Vita, myself.
