Because the game-breaking changes introduced with patch 1.03 apparently weren’t enough of a “fuck you” to their fans, Blizzard has made the unprecedented decision to restrict new copies of the digital edition of Diablo III to a demo environment for up to 72 hours following purchase so they can verify that the credit card used to buy the game isn’t fraudulent.

Steam doesn’t do this. Origin doesn’t do this. Nobody does this, actually. Fuck you, Blizzard. You broke the game and you’re treating your customers like criminals.
