Amazon is working with Foxconn to release an Amazon-branded smart phone designed to compete with the iPhone and Android devices according to a report from Bloomberg. The article cites two anonymous sources, however neither company has commented.

This really isn’t a big surprise given the relative success of the Kindle Fire. It will definitely be interesting to see what operating system they choose, though. (Firefox OS, maybe?)
