DreamWorks is pursuing actor Jeremy Renner of The Hurt Locker, The Town, and The Bourne Supremacy fame to play the role of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in a drama about the ongoing saga. The studio is developing the script based on details from two books written by journalists for The Guardian, both of whom sold rights to the studio this year.

There’s a definite resemblance between the two. Renner’s probably the best man for the job.
