More bad news for mobile gaming giant Zynga today. John Schappert, the company’s now former COO, has resigned in response to his job responsibilities being stripped as part of a corporate restructuring. The change put both mobile head David Ko and game development head Steve Chiang directly under CEO Mark Pincus instead of Schappert.

If nothing else, this is more bad press for a company that’s already tanking and being sued.
