Warner Bros. has decided to re-do the end sequence of upcoming film Gangster Squad in response to the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting that claimed 12 lives. The original ending to the film included a wild shootout inside Hollywood’s Chinese Theatre.

The film, which stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, and Josh Brolin, is now set to hit theaters on January 11th. It was originally supposed to be out on September 7th.

I’m betting that they include the “controversial original ending” with the Blu-ray release.
