A federal jury in California decided today that Apple is entitled to $1.05 billion in its patent lawsuit against Samsung. The jury found that Samsung has in fact infringed on six out of the seven patents that Apple declared ownership over during the trial.

This is a crushing blow that will have a long-lasting impact on Samsung’s business.
