Both the FBI and Apple have issued statements in response to a bold claim by hacker group AntiSec that they stole a list of Apple Device IDs from an FBI laptop. The FBI tweeted that it simply didn’t happen and Apple told AllThingsD that they aren’t in bed with the feds. It’s hard to tell who’s lying, of course. None of the parties involved are known for being truth-tellers.

In other news, the FBI apparently denies rumors about security breaches via Twitter. Irony.
