The International Cycling Union announced that it will not appeal the United States Anti-Doping Agency ruling to ban cycling legend Lance Armstrong for life from Olympic sports for doping. Armstrong has officially been stripped of his seven Tour de France wins.

Neither Armstrong nor his representatives have commented yet, however he has removed all mention of the Tour de France from his Twitter and Facebook profiles.
