The entire Gawker network went down due to a power outage caused by Hurricane Sandy, which is currently pounding shit out of the northeastern United States. The network includes tech news giant Gizmodo, gaming news hub Kotaku, and of course Gawker itself.

There’s really no telling at this point how long the network will be down. Their data center is in Lower Manhattan, which is currently experiencing the downpour of the century.
