Activision announced today that despite the perception that the Call of Duty franchise may have plateaued, Black Ops 2 still managed to set a new record for an entertainment release by grossing $1 billion in 15 days. That’s one day faster than Modern Warfare 3, which broke the record last year. The previous record holder was James Cameron’s film Avatar.
