The Good: Fantastic dialogue, beautiful camera work, and both Brad Pitt and James Gandolfini were brilliant. I’d say this was Pitt’s best performance in a film to date.

The Bad: The opening scene is the most jarring audiovisual cluster fuck ever. Ray Liotta overacted in a few scenes.

The Final Word: This is one of the best films of 2012. I had no expectations going in and walked away wanting to watch it again immediately. The writing is just that good.
