It should come as no surprise that the Battle.net forums went apeshit over the news that Jay Wilson is walking away from Diablo III. What is a surprise, however, is that the backlash was so nasty that Blizzard exec (and lead World of WarCraft designer) Rob Pardo stepped in to tell fans to a.) cool it and b.) blame him for the problems that have plagued the game.

I’ve had a love-hate relationship with Diablo III, myself. It’s mostly been love, though.
