It’s official; J.J. Abrams just signed a huge deal with Disney to direct Star Wars: Episode VII. Abrams has been on the short list of possible leads for the project from the start so this is no big surprise. He’ll be working directly with Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt.

I really hope he doesn’t fuck it up. Abrams has been hit and miss with his movies.
