Edge Online is reporting interesting (and disturbing) things about the new Xbox. Here’s the quick summary of what their anonymous source has shared with them about the system.

• Used games won’t be supported. If you buy a game, you own it.
• The system will require an always-on Internet connection.
• Disc based releases will come on a 50GB Blu-ray disc.

Given Microsoft’s shift toward digital distribution this doesn’t come as a big surprise. But it’s going to be a deal breaker for many gamers, as is the always-on connection requirement.
