Police and federal agents throughout southern California are hunting a former LAPD officer named Christopher Dorner. He’s wanted for the murder (in one case attempted murder) of several people – all of them police officers or relatives of police officers.

Dorner was fired in 2009 for making false statements about his training officer. It’s unclear at this point why he waited until now to lash out. Regardless, Dorner is capable of doing a lot of damage. He’s a 270 pound former Navy lieutenant. Police say he’s got a “hit list”.

I’m predicting a “suicide by cop” scenario, here. One way or another, he won’t see court.
