Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot told the company’s investors today that they plan to publish a new Assassin’s Creed game during the 2014 financial year. Guillemot didn’t give much in the way of detail but he did say that it will be set in a new time period with a new protagonist.

It will be interesting to see how they tie this into the rest of the franchise, if at all.
