Ryan Reynolds to Star In Highlander Reboot?
Variety is reporting that Lionsgate-Summit is talking to Safe House star Ryan Reynolds to take on the role of… someone with the last name MacLeod, obviously.
The original Highlander movie was released in 1986. It starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery, and Clancy Brown. Summit acquired rights to the franchise in 2008.
I’m on the fence about this. Reynolds is one of my favorite actors. But this just sounds odd.

Blizzard Delaying Launch of Diablo III Cash Auction House
Due to “unforeseen” problems with their infrastructure following the game’s launch this week, Blizzard is delaying launch of the Diablo III “real money” auction house until May 29th.

John Hennessey was tired of hearing about how fast and amazing the Bugatti Veyron is, so he customized (stretched) a Lotus Elise to run a 1,200hp engine.
He dubbed it the 2013 Venom GT Spyder. I think I need a new pair of underwear.

Tennessee Man Fathers 30 Children With 11 Women
Desmond Hatchett, 33, of Knoxville, Tennessee, is a busy guy. He has a grand total of 30 children with 11 women. The children range in age from toddlers to 14 years old.
Obviously, Hatchett can’t even begin to pay the child support owed – especially given the fact that he works a minimum wage job. (That’s about $7.25 an hour.) He appeared this week in a Memphis court to request a break. No word on whether he’s still with any of the mothers.

Jackie Chan Retiring From Action Movies
Jackie Chan, legendary martial artist and action film star, is retiring. Chan, 58, says he’s too old to continue doing stunts and the world is “too violent”.
“It’s a dilemma – I like action but I don’t like violence.”
The upcoming Chinese Zodiac, Chan’s 100th film, will be his last big action outing. He does hope to continue acting, however. He plans to take on more serious roles in future projects.
