MediaFire Blocks Filestube
Mediafire, one of the last remaining file sharing services that hasn’t blocked access to users in the United States, just made it a lot harder to snag downloads that you weren’t given a link to directly. The company is now blocking all incoming traffic from search engine FilesTube.
Company co-founder Tom Langridge told TorrentFreak, “As a private service MediaFire was never designed to be indexed which is why we don’t have an index.”
Langridge’s explanation is bullshit, of course. Mediafire is simply playing the “CYA” game.

Four Year Old Murders Father Over PlayStation
A four-and-a-half year old boy in Saudi Arabia reportedly killed his father this past weekend because the man didn’t buy him a PlayStation console.
The father, who has not been identified, died instantly from a gunshot wound to the head.
It’s unclear as to whether the boy asked for a Vita or a PS3.

Meow the Cat
Meow is a two year old tabby from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He weighs in at 40 pounds. His 87 year old owner sadly could no longer care for him, so he was turned over to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter last week. They’ve since found him a foster family – and put him on a diet.
