Russians vs. Bridge Construction
These kids are one part stupid, two parts insane. But it makes for an awesome video.
UPDATE: They’ve been arrested for their shenanigans.
Blow Job
Blow Job is a series by Lithuanian photographer Tadao Cern. It’s… amazing.
Diablo III – Mr. Pink’s Review
It took me just short of 21 hours from the time I created my Wizard in Diablo III to kill the Lord of Terror himself. I did it mostly solo, save for the Belial and Diablo fights.
Considering that the game has only been out for 59 hours as of this posting – and considering that I’ve also spent 10 hours on another character for a total of 31 out of the last 59 hours – I think it’s safe to say that Diablo III is good.
It’s too good, in fact.
From start to finish, this game is fantastic. It’s everything I’d been hoping for in a sequel. Aside from the rocky launch, I don’t have a single bad thing to say. Blizzard hit the nail on the head. I’m going to be playing this game for years to come – especially considering that there are expansions planned.
Why are you still reading this? If you’ve got a computer that can run it, go buy the game!
Note: I’m well aware that this wasn’t a review so much as me just creaming myself.
Diablo III: Error 37 Girl
This pretty much sums up the experience every Diablo III player had Tuesday at midnight.
Batman: Arkham City – Harley Quinn’s Payback Trailer
They actually managed to make Robin look… cool. I’ll be damned.
New Blade Runner Movie Is a Sequel, Original Writer Returning
We’ve known since last summer that Ridley Scott is planning to do another Blade Runner movie. What we didn’t know (until today, at least) is that it’s going to be a sequel and original screenwriter Hampton Fancher is the man taking care of the story once again.
Sadly, Harrison Ford won’t be involved. In fact, the protagonist will be female.
Modern Warfare 3 – Collection 2 DLC Launch Trailer
This new Face Off game mode actually looks like fun.
Facebook Sets IPO Share Price at $38
Facebook finally set a price for its IPO today: stock in the world’s largest social network will run $38 per share. That means the IPO will raise roughly $16 billion in funding, making it the largest IPO in tech history and the third largest in the history of the United States.
Facebook is still waiting on the Securities and Exchange Commission for formal approval but it looks like the company is otherwise on the verge of going public.
I’m calling it right now: this is going to prove disastrous within two years.
Chick ‘N’ Mix
What the actual fuck is happening.
Blizzard Issues Apology For Botched Diablo III Launch
Josh Ko, also known as Blizzard community manager Bashiok, posted a sincere apology from the company this evening for the somewhat botched Diablo III launch yesterday and for the ugly technical issues that continue to plague players and the world servers on Battle.net.
I, for one, am willing to forgive and forget. The game is absolutely awesome (when it works).
