He&#8217;s truly got a gift for illustration, as you can see from the incredibly detailed <strong>Reservoir Dogs</strong> piece below.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve actually been talking to Chris about a collaborative project for the past several weeks. Unfortunately, that&#8217;s been hampered by the <a href="http://www.whatthechrist.com/2012/01/21/network-service-interruption/" target="_blank">storm</a> that knocked us out and by ongoing issues with our web mail server over the past few days. (We owe you an apology, Chris.)</p>
<p>Expect to see more of his work here in the coming weeks &#8211; maybe even with the chance to buy prints of his pieces in poster form if there&#8217;s enough interest.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Back in 2005, <strong>Facebook</strong> commissioned graffiti artist <strong>David Choe</strong> to do some funky artwork at their headquarters facility in <strong>Palo Alto, California</strong>. They <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/02/technology/for-founders-to-decorators-facebook-riches.html?_r=3&amp;ref=global-home&amp;pagewanted=all" target="_blank">paid</a> him in stock.</p>
<p>That stock is now worth somewhere in the range of <em>$200 million</em> thanks to the <strong>IPO</strong> that the company announced yesterday. That&#8217;s not too bad considering that Choe thought the concept of Facebook was &#8220;ridiculous and pointless&#8221; at first. Lucky bastard, this guy.</p>
