Moog Releases Animoog For iPad
Moog, long known for their legendary analog synthesizers, just released their newest iPad app. It’s called Animoog. It’s the first polyphonic synth designed exclusively for iOS.
If you have any interest in making music, this is the app to buy. Just be sure to grab it before November 17th, when the $0.99 introductory price tag disappears. (It’s jumping to $30.)
PocoPoco
This is one of the coolest music creation tools I’ve ever seen. It’s called a PocoPoco. I want one. I want one quite badly, in fact. They’re still prototyping it, however.
The Sound Tank
Berlin-based artist Nik Nowak builds and performs with insane mobile speaker systems. Take, for example, this ridiculous “sound tank”. Be sure to watch it through to the end.
Pumped Up Kicks
This goes from being pretty cool to outright awesome in a hurry.
Fully Functional Daft Punk Helmet
This guy spent approximately four months building a fully functional replica of one of Daft Punk’s iconic helmets. It has a full programmable LED spectrum. Wow.
Shutterlog Remix
I have the irresistable urge to drop a kick drum on top of this. Awesome, regardless.
Madeon – Pop Culture (Dance Video)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard Madeon’s mash-terpiece, Pop Culture. But the real question is whether you’ve seen the dance video.
TableTop for iPad
Retronyms, makers of several high quality audio apps for the iPad, just rolled out one of the most impressive looking music production tools ever released for an Apple device. It’s a fully modular environment called TableTop.
You can get the core app with 9 of the 12 launch modules included right now for $4.99 on the App Store. I’ve just purchased it, myself, and plan to do a full review later this week.
