YouTube user RatedRR took both an HK-53 and an M4 shotgun to the iPad 3. The results? Obviously, the iPad is toast. But it held up surprisingly well to the damage.

The Pirate Bay Working On “Low Orbit Server Stations”
The Pirate Bay went down for unannounced maintenance yesterday. Obviously, the fact that there’s a rumor circulating that the site’s days are numbered meant everybody panicked.
But according to a blog post from the crew of the Jolly Roger, there’s nothing to worry about – because they’re working on a plan to decentralize the site using a network of GPS-controlled drones to ensure that it can’t be taken down. Ridiculous? Yes. Awesome? Definitely.
Google to Unveil $149 Nexus Tablet?
According to a report from Android and Me, the tablet industry could once again be on the verge of a serious shake-up in terms of price points. Google is said to be working directly with Asus to produce a Nexus tablet that will retail for as low as $149. Hot damn!

The Humble Android Bundle 2
Because the first Android promotion was such a success, the Humble Bundle team is doing another run! This time, they have five brand new titles including one specifically for tablets.
The pack includes Canabalt, Zen Bound 2, Cogs, Avadon: The Dark Fortress (tablets), and Swords & Soldiers (as long as you pay at least the average for the pack as a whole).
I’m buying it for Canabalt and Cogs alone.

Invisible Children Co-Founder Arrested After Public Breakdown
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two weeks, you’ve probably heard about Invisible Children and the KONY 2012 video. It’s a 30 minute documentary about Joseph Kony, ruthless leader of Ugandan guerrilla group the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). For whatever reason, it’s the most viral thing since Star Wars Kid.
What you may not have heard about is the fact that Jason Russell, co-founder of Invisible Children, was arrested yesterday because he was drunk, naked, and masturbating outside of Sea World in San Diego. Because of course he was. It only makes sense, right?

Yammer CEO Offers Yahoo Employees $25,000 Signing Bonus
David Sacks, CEO of enterprise social network Yammer, is really pissed at Yahoo over the company’s patent lawsuit against Facebook. He’s so angry, in fact, that he’s offering a $25,000 signing bonus to anyone who jumps ship from Yahoo to Yammer in the next 60 days. He isn’t mincing words when question about his position, either. Here’s what he told Wired.
“If established companies like Yahoo decide that patent trolling is a legitimate form of business, it will destroy Silicon Valley.
The only check on their behavior is community outrage.”
I didn’t know who this guy was before today. But he’s a boss who acts like a boss. Bravo!
