Jack White to Release Solo Album
Jack White, former front man of both The Raconteurs and The White Stripes, is on the verge of releasing his very first solo album on his own label, Third Man Records.
The album is called Blunderbuss and you can grab a copy on April 24th. There’s a 99.99% chance that this is going to be fucking awesome. Jack White is a musical beast.

Matthew’s Day Off
It turns out that this epic teaser was really just a lead-up to a Honda CR-V commercial that’s set to air during the Super Bowl. God damn it. Those bastards.
Aside from the fact that I’m crushed over the sad truth that there won’t be a Ferris Bueller’s Day Off sequel, I’m honestly curious as to why it’s suddenly the norm to debut Super Bowl commercials before the Super Bowl actually airs on television.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is coming to the Xbox 360 soon – and it’s got a bad ass CG trailer. One of the best I’ve seen in recent years, actually.

Abraj
Cinematographer Philip Bloom, commissioned by the crown prince of Dubai, created this epic time lapse video. He calls it Abraj, the Arabic plural for “tower”.
The name refers to the iconic Burj Al Arab and the enormous Burj Khalifa.

Brilliant Star Wars LEGO Minifig Photography
Vesa Lehtimäki, also known as Avanaut, does some truly incredible things with a relatively cheap camera, LEGO Star Wars minifigs, and a bit of lighting trickery.
His Flickr stream is full of all kinds of awesome stuff. It’s definitely worth a look.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to insert a direct plug for Audio Technica products. I’ve had my M50 monitors for something like five years. They kick ass, to say the least.

Facebook IPO Coming Wednesday
The Wall Street Journal is saying that Facebook will finally take the plunge with an IPO on Wednesday – and analysts are expecting it to be the biggest in history. In fact, many are expecting that it will cause “pandemonium” on the trading floor if and when it happens.
