The Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Cake
Believe it or not, the DeLorean in the picture below is an eight foot long cake.
It was designed by Food Network chef and Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Back to the Future.

Nutrition Professor Loses 27 Pounds on Twinkie Diet
Mark Haub, a professor of human nutrition at Kansas State University, just ended a ten week diet consisting entirely of snack cakes. He lost 27 pounds on the all-sugar diet and appears to be healthier in general. His findings fly in the face of everything that dietitians and nutritionists think they know about healthy eating habits.

San Francisco Outlaws Happy Meal Toys
The Board of Supervisors in the city of San Francisco voted eight to three yesterday to outlaw McDonald’s from giving out toys in their Happy Meals. The ordinance forbids fast food restaurants from including toys in children’s meals that contain excessive calories, sodium and fat. It’s designed to help prevent childhood obesity.
Unfortunately, according to this SFGate article, the mayor is expected to veto the move.
