Because you can never have too many screens in front of you at once, there’s now an iPad stand that can clip on to the back of your monitor – or anything else, for that matter.

It’s called the HoverBar and although it doesn’t come cheap at $79.99, I could definitely think of a number of really awesome ways to leverage one of these.

The Gerber Venture Knife

I’ve been looking for a good all-purpose knife lately – primarily something to take camping. I settled on the Venture from Gerber. It’s solid titanium, serrated, and looks rather bad ass.

You can get one for $74, which isn’t bad considering that it’s not something you’ll buy twice.

THQ Delays Metro: Last Light, Publishes Release Schedule

The saga of video game publishing titan THQ has taken several twists and turns this week. A day after reducing their workforce by 240 positions, the company is making headlines again for several reasons. Here’s a quick rundown of what we know right now.

Metro: Last Light, sequel to Metro 2033, has been delayed to 2013.
There are more than 1.4 million unsold uDraw tablets collecting dust in a warehouse right now. THQ lost $100 million on that investment decision.
The Warhammer 40,000 MMO, Dark Millennium Online, is not canceled!
inSane, the horror game that Volition was working on with director Guillermo Del Toro, and Homefront 2, which was in development at Crytek UK, are both still happening.
THQ has two unannounced “core” titles planned for release in fiscal year 2014 and four planned for release in fiscal year 2014.

Not bad considering that the company is otherwise falling apart at the seams.

iPad 3 Specs Leaked, A6 Chip Confirmed

A source claiming to have access to an iPad 3 prototype leaked screenshots of the device’s specs, which were measured using a development tool called iBoot, to the folks at BGR. It appears to be a legitimate leak. Perhaps the most interesting detail is that it will run on an A6 chip, making it several leaps and bounds faster than the iPad 2.

Wii U Twice the Power of Xbox 360

Hot on the heels of a rumor that the Xbox 720 should be seven times the power of the Xbox 360, a source told Develop recently that the Wii U is only twice the power of the current-gen Microsoft console. That’s a lot less than what some studios expected from Nintendo.

But then again, this is Nintendo we’re talking about. They’re always behind the curve.

Microsoft Testing Kinect Sensors In Laptops

The Daily is reporting that Microsoft is currently testing Kinect components in Windows 8 based laptops. It’s a logical progression from the recently unveiled PC version of the popular motion controller that could have huge implications for… well… looking like a goofy bastard while you flail your hands around in front of the screen at your local coffee shop.
