Following the report a few weeks back that Rockstar plans to bring Grand Theft Auto III to mobile devices next year, Digital Trends published a hands-on preview that includes a very interesting piece of information: it would be a “technical challenge” for the company to do the same thing with San Andreas and Vice City – but it’s still “very possible”.

Sony Buying Out Sony-Ericsson For $1.47 Billion
After a decade of doing business together, Sony announced today that it plans to completely buy out Ericsson’s share of Sony-Ericsson mobile for $1.47 billion.
The purchase mainly consists of the “five essential patent families” that Ericsson’s division has held. The deal opens up the opportunity to use those patents in other Sony devices.

Minecraft 360 Playable at MineCon Next Month
Mojang has confirmed that a playable version of the upcoming Kinect-enhanced Xbox 360 port of Minecraft will be playable at the first annual MineCon next month.
This might just be reason enough for me to invest in a Kinect adapter.
SR600EX Pro Smart Repeater
A company called Amped Wireless is claiming that the new SR600EX Pro Smart Repeater can boost your home Wi-Fi signal to such strengths that you’ll be able to access your network from up to 1.5 miles away. The device uses 600mW amplifier and only costs $180.
