EA Unexpectedly Releases Battlefield 3 iOS Game

The EA mobile division unexpectedly and inexplicably released a god-awful iOS bastardization of Battlefield 3 this morning. It’s apparently tied to some sort of advertising partnership with the producers of the upcoming war movie Act of Valor.

The game is called Battlefield 3: Aftershock and – no surprise, here – it’s terrible. Even free, it isn’t worth downloading.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Sequel Confirmed

The Wolverine, a follow-up to 2009′s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is apparently a real thing that’s happening. It’s even got an official release date: July 26th, 2013. Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Logan, also known as Wolverine.

James Mangold, director of the star-studded 2007 reboot of classic western 3:10 to Yuma, is directing. Christopher McQuarrie, author of The Usual Suspects, wrote the script.

The Art of Noodles: Reservoir Dogs

I’ve posted art from Chris Morkaut, also known as Noodles, in the past. He’s truly got a gift for illustration, as you can see from the incredibly detailed Reservoir Dogs piece below.

We’ve actually been talking to Chris about a collaborative project for the past several weeks. Unfortunately, that’s been hampered by the storm that knocked us out and by ongoing issues with our web mail server over the past few days. (We owe you an apology, Chris.)

Expect to see more of his work here in the coming weeks – maybe even with the chance to buy prints of his pieces in poster form if there’s enough interest.
