Steve Jobs Had a Liver Transplant Two Months Ago
Check out this report from the Associated Press. It claims that Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs had a liver transplant in Tennessee two months ago. Apple refuses to comment, stating simply that Jobs is looking forward to returning to work at the end of this month. That pretty much confirms it.

The 15 Most Disturbing Movies Ever Made
Movie Crunch just published a list of the fifteen movies that they believe to be the most disturbing ever made. I’ve never seen more than half of the films they mention but I can attest to the fact that a few of the titles (such as Requiem For a Dream) are indeed rather fucked up. I don’t know that this will become a “movies to watch” list for me but maybe it will be for some of you?
Indiana Jones 5?
According to several rumors, Steven Spielberg is hard at work on the concept for a fifth entry in the Indiana Jones series. We can only hope that it’s not true, considering how absolutely horrid the fourth installment was.
Unfortunately, Shia LaBeouf, who played Harrison Ford’s douchebag sidekick in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is saying that it’s true.

This came out quite a while ago but it’s amazing and I just sat and watched through the whole thing for the first time in a while. Absolutely mint.
Pirate Party to Enter European Parliament
The Pirate Party has gathered enough votes to be guaranteed a seat in the European Parliament. Holy shit. They did it. They actually did it. I guess it’s onward to Brussels!

Gizmodo Goes to IMAX
Gizmodo’s own Mark Wilson spent a week at IMAX headquarters in Toronto, Canada. The site is one of the coolest IMAX theaters around. He took a close look at the cameras and lenses that are used in filming IMAX movies.
