Oklahoma Grandmother Busted For Being Marijuana Kingpin
Darlene Mayes, 73, was arrested by police in Oklahoma this week after they identified her as the leader of a giant marijuana distribution ring that spanned four states.
Authorities say they found four pounds of pot, a semiautomatic pistol, a revolver, and a total of $276,000 in cash after executing a raid on Mayes’ home in rural Craig County.
Mayes is said to have supplied up to 40% of the marijuana in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri. Police tracked her for years. They finally identified her this past Monday.

4,096×2,160 pixel resolution. That’s the equivalent of four 1080p displays.
Best Buy CEO Fired For Using Company Funds On Mistress?
Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn resigned earlier this week without warning. Best Buy refused to comment except to say that Dunn had left due to an investigation into his personal conduct.
It turns out that Dunn, 50, was apparently caught using company funds to facilitate his banging a much younger low-level corporate employee. Dunn is married. In other words, he’s now lost his fat $10 million salary and he’s probably going to lose his shirt in divorce court. Ouch.
Gizmodo has the details, which may or may not be true.

Best Buy CEO Brian Dunn Resigns Unexpectedly
Brian Dunn, the “rags to riches” CEO of Best Buy who started as a sales associate for the company in 1985 and rose to Chief Executive in 2009, resigned unexpectedly today.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, Best Buy says his resignation took place during an investigation into “certain issues” with Dunn’s personal conduct.
Best Buy is certainly having some bad luck, lately.

Facebook Acquires Instagram
Hot on the heels of their Android release last week, the Instagram team just announced that they’ve been acquired by Facebook for approximately $1 billion in cash and stock.
That ain’t too shabby at all considering that Instagram is just a tiny camera app. Then again, it has an absolutely massive social network behind it. If you can’t beat ‘em, buy ‘em!
New York City Bus Hits Mattress, Ignites, Torches Six Vehicles
The S53, a bus from Staten Island, struck a twin-size mattress just after 11:00p.m. this past Thursday night and dragged it over the Verrazano Bridge.
One of the mattress springs punctured the gas tank, igniting a blaze that torched the bus and six parked cars before firefighters managed to put it out. No one was hurt.
As you can see from the photo below, the S53 is done. Only in New York.
