Firefall Gameplay Demo
Firefall is an MMO FPS currently under development at Red 5 Studios – a group made up of many former World of WarCraft designers and developers including former Team Lead Mark Kern. It looks a bit like Borderlands mashed up with some elements of older Unreal Tournament titles, if you ask me. I’m looking forward to at least giving it a try. I was (and still am) disappointed with just about every other MMO FPS on the market.

inFamous 2 Gameplay
We don’t give PS3 games a lot of coverage here on What The Christ? – largely because I didn’t own the console until recently and therefore couldn’t speak to the quality of games. I must admit, however, that this gameplay footage from inFamous 2 – shown last weekend at PAX 2010 – looks awesome. I’m currently playing through the first inFamous and aside from a few minor complaints, it’s a great game.

TRON: Evolution Gameplay
This clip came out of PAX 2010 this past weekend. I honestly hadn’t paid much attention to TRON: Evolution before this but it now has my undivided attention. It’s essentially Mirror’s Edge, Crackdown, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed all rolled into one gorgeous looking package. I’m seriously considering a purchase.

Classic NES Games Recreated in LEGO
There’s a fine line between dedication and obsession. This video toes that line.

It’s Lemmings meets Pikmin in Swarm, unveiled this past weekend at PAX 2010.
Big Wave
This is footage of surfer Mike Parsons catching a 64 foot wall of water at Jaws Beach, Hawaii. To say that this guy has balls of steel would be the understatement of the century.

Snakebot
This “Snakebot” robot is currently under development at Carnegie Mellon University. My immediate reaction was, “Holy shit, it’s a robot climbing a goddamn tree.”
We’re all screwed if one of these falls into the wrong hands.

“Smash Brothers” Style Star Wars Game Unveiled at PAX
LucasArts brought something very interesting to PAX this year. It looks to be a Smash Brothers style game for the Nintendo Wii rooted in the Star Wars universe.
Up to four players can fight in the same game. There are eight characters to choose from.
