Yahoo CEO Scott Thompson Lied About His Education
When Yahoo hired Scott Thompson to replace Carol Bartz in January, Thompson claimed to hold degrees in accounting and computer science from Stonehill College in Boston.
It turns out that he lied. Thompson got a degree in accounting and only accounting. In fact, the college didn’t even have a computer science degree at the time he was a student there.
This is obviously an issue for Yahoo. First, they had a crazy CEO. Now, they have a liar.

Treasure Hunter Claims to Have Located Bin Laden’s Body
A professional treasure hunter from California named Bill Warren claims to know the exact location where the U.S. Navy dumped Osama Bin Laden’s body last year – and he’s trying to raise $200,000 in funding to recover it. Why? Because he’s insane. Clearly.
Warren told a reporter for Spanish newspaper El Mundo that the feds dumped the body in a heavily weighted bag roughly 200 miles due west of the Indian city of Surat. Of course, even if he’s right there’s almost no chance that he’s going to find any evidence at this point.

Rockstar Announces Max Payne 3 DLC Plans, Ruins Hype
Rockstar became the latest game developer to jump aboard the “announce DLC before you can even buy the game” bandwagon today, revealing a range of Max Payne 3 add-ons. You can buy a “Rockstar Pass” and get all of the packs at a 35% “discount”.
This is the kind of bullshit that turns me away from buying games, anymore.

Activision released a world premiere trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 today. Just when you thought the franchise couldn’t get any more ridiculous, Treyarch takes us to the future.
This is seriously the most ridiculous video game trailer I have ever seen. The fact that this isn’t some kind of sick joke floors me. What the fuck are they thinking?
UPDATE: A mountain of details about the game have emerged. Kotaku has a summary. It even sounds like a horrendous pile of shit. Jesus. Whoever came up with this should be fired.

Pennsylvania Boy Pees On Elementary School MacBooks
A Pennsylvania boy is facing charges of “institutional vandalism and criminal mischief” after destroying a cartful of MacBooks at his school – by peeing on them.
Officials at the elementary school where the incident occurred say the laptops were damaged “beyond repair”. The total cost to the school is estimated at around $36,000.
