Time Lapse Videos of Massive Earth Changes
Not that we need another reason to freak out about human impact on the environment but Wired Science has a small but truly incredible collection of time lapse videos showing massive changes that have occurred on Earth over a relatively short period of time. Check out this one, for example. An entire lake (Lake Powell) just disappears.
