Friend: I lost my fucking keyboard.
Mr. Pink: Wait just a second, here…
Friend: My MIDI controller, you asshole.
Friend: Not the one I type with.
Mr. Pink: Oh.

100 Most Popular Photoshop Tutorials of 2008
PhotoshopLady posted this article about two weeks ago and I missed it until just now. It’s a collection of the 100 most popular Photoshop tutorials of 2008. They rank each tutorial by the number of page views that it received over the course of the year.
This is an awesome collection for anyone from professional graphics artists to amateurs who just want to learn how to do cool things with photos. I’ve used several of them myself.
Bacon?
This is a rather disturbing photo if you ask me. What competent parent would not only allow their child to lick a pig’s nose… but actually stop to take a picture of them doing it? That’s just nasty.
Steve Jobs Speaks
Steve Jobs broke his silence on all of the rumors that have been flying since he announced that he would not be giving the keynote speech at MacWorld tomorrow. It turns out that he is in fact dealing with health issues – but not the issues that you might expect. Apparently, Steve has some sort of hormonal imbalance that has been impacting his weight. The good news is that it can be corrected with medication. He’s already undergoing treatment.
As you’ll see in the letter, Jobs is also planning to stay on as Apple’s CEO.
I still think he’s going to be there tomorrow and I still think he’s going to get up and at least provide some commentary during the keynote.
I guess we’ll find out for sure tomorrow morning.
Flipping Typical
Need to see what a font looks like on the web? Want to make a quick comparison between two (or more) fonts? Check out Flipping Typical. It’s a simple but extremely useful concept, especially if you’re a web developer.
Spelunky
If you like Super Mario style platform adventures and you’re looking for something new to play on your PC, then you should check out Spelunky. It’s an independent title developed by Derek Yu. It draws obvious inspiration from the Indiana Jones series. The cool thing about this one, however, is that levels (caves) are rolled at random. That’s a lot of replay value!
You can read more about the game and download the latest build here.
Derek’s other game, Aquaria, looks decent, too.
