Mark Lamia, CEO of Treyarch, says that Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature an AI based “offline multiplayer” mode designed to teach players how to handle the rigors of online play.
The offline mode will feature its own dedicated progression and achievement system and will cater to newbies and veterans alike.
In other words, they’ve added bot support to the game. Holy shit. This is amazing. I wonder if they’re going to add “aimbot” and “wall hack” options?

I’d wager that a year from now, Digg will be nothing more than a shell of its former self. It’s a sad situation, really, considering how great the site used to be. Unfortunately, they seem to have developed a bad case of Yahoo! syndrome – they’re suffering from arrogant, inept leadership and a user base that isn’t mature enough to sustain itself. The worst part is that nothing Williams does as the new top dog is going to change that.
