Apple Surpasses 50 Billion App Store Downloads

Brandon Ashmore of Mentor, Ohio just won the $10,000 gift card that Apple promised to the person who downloaded the 50 billionth app from the App Store.

Ashmore, 21, told media that he thought it was a prank when Apple told him he’d won.

The Yahoo board just approved the rumored $1.1 billion cash buyout of Tumblr. Cash. I’m at a loss for words. Stock and such is one thing. But a billion dollars in cash? Fuck.

WTC Reviews: Metro: Last Light

The Good: The story kicks ass. The gameplay kicks ass. The guns kick ass. The sound kicks ass. It all kicks ass.

The Bad: I thought BioShock Infinite would get my vote for game of the year. I was dead wrong.

The Final Word: Simply put, Metro: Last Light is in the same league as the Half-Life franchise. It isn’t a “perfect” game by any stretch but the bugs are forgivable when you sit back and consider it as a whole. Buy this game.
