EA Launches “Player Appreciation Sale” On Origin
EA just launched a massive sale on Origin. They’ve dubbed it the “Player Appreciation Sale” and there are more than 200 games on sale. Here are some of the highlights:
- Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 for $29.99 apiece.
- Hitman: Absolution for $15.00.
- Assassin’s Creed III for $34.99.
- Batman: Arkham City GOTY for $12.00.
Origin or not, those prices are hard to ignore. And that’s only a fraction of what’s available.

FBI Identifies Famous Art Thieves, Can’t Charge Them
The FBI announced today that they think they know the identities of a pair of thieves who stole a collection of 13 works of art valued at $500 million from a museum in Boston.
The only problem is that they can’t arrest them because it happened in 1990, so the statute of limitations has passed. They’re instead trying to find the art so they can arrest whoever has it on possession of stolen property charges. Boy, our legal system sure is fucked up.

Sony Filing Confirms New Daft Punk Album
We’ve known since September that French electronic music legends Daft Punk have been hard at work on a fourth album – their first since the TRON: Legacy soundtrack.
Today, Sony made it official with a PPL filing for 13 tracks. EDM pointed it out on Twitter.
