Blizzard Issues Apology For Botched Diablo III Launch
Josh Ko, also known as Blizzard community manager Bashiok, posted a sincere apology from the company this evening for the somewhat botched Diablo III launch yesterday and for the ugly technical issues that continue to plague players and the world servers on Battle.net.
I, for one, am willing to forgive and forget. The game is absolutely awesome (when it works).
Hidden Diablo III Zone Discovered
Those of you who played Diablo II undoubtedly remember the insane, loot-laden Secret Cow Level. Blizzard remembers, too, and they kept the hilarious tradition alive in Diablo III. Only this time, the hidden zone is a jab at those who complained about the game’s art style.

Verizon to Eliminate Unlimited Data Plans
Verizon CFO Fran Shammo revealed today at the J.P. Morgan Technology, Media and Telecom conference that the company is eliminating unlimited data plans this summer.
That includes subscribers such as myself who are grandfathered into a $30/month plan.
The announcement is causing an uproar among Verizon customers for obvious reasons. I, for one, will be dumping them as my carrier when the switch occurs. (Our state has a law allowing residents to dump a contract if a service provider decides to change the terms.)
