EA confirmed today that Battlefield 4 is out on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 on October 29th. They also announced China Rising, the first piece of BF4 DLC.
Yes, seriously. They’re announcing DLC already. It’s a pre-order bonus. But it’s still DLC.
ZOMG. They’re going to give us a puppy to play with!
I have extraordinarily high hopes for this game. Here’s hoping that it doesn’t disappoint.
The Bad: I thought BioShock Infinite would get my vote for game of the year. I was dead wrong.
The Final Word: Simply put, Metro: Last Light is in the same league as the Half-Life franchise. It isn’t a “perfect” game by any stretch but the bugs are forgivable when you sit back and consider it as a whole. Buy this game.
SCORE (Out of 10): 9
Warning: An extra pair of underwear (or two) is highly recommended.
I really hope this game is as awesome as it looks.
Bethesda just dropped a teaser for the Wolfenstein reboot we heard about in February.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was such a success that its Creative Director Dean Evans is in talks to do a sequel! This is according to the game’s lead voice actor Michael Biehn.
Here’s hoping that the sequel – if it happens – receives a bigger budget.
The Bad: The color palette gets to be way too much after a few hours of playing. I was also a bit disappointed in the lack of gun variety.
The Final Word: I like Blood Dragon just as much as I do the original Far Cry 3. It’s one of the funniest games I’ve played in years.
SCORE (Out of 10): 8.5
It’s official. Call of Duty: Ghosts will be the next entry in the long running franchise.
