Far Cry 3 – Map Editor Trailer
Far Cry 3 is shipping with a fully functional map editor. Mother of God.
343 Industries Considering a Halo MMO
We have it on good authority that 343 Industries is toying with the idea of building a console-based MMO set in the Halo universe. This would be in addition to Halo 5 and Halo 6, both of which the company confirmed as part of the Reclaimer Trilogy reveal at E3 2011.
If this happens, Activision will almost certainly respond with a Call of Duty MMO.
Far Cry 3 – Weapons Trailer
Far Cry 3 has more firepower than a NRA convention.
WTC Reviews – Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
The Good: It has everything we’ve come to expect in a Call of Duty game – and it does it all really well. I was truly surprised by how decent the plot actually is.
The Bad: The multiplayer could use work. Zombies is a bit uninspired, the Call of Duty Elite system is a bit of a bust, and there are some real lag issues.
The Final Word: It’s Call of Duty. You either love it or you hate it. It’s definitely got replay value.
SCORE (Out of 10): 8
Activision Caves to Pressure, Returns Nuketown 2025
Less than 24 hours after removing the map from the game completely, Activision has caved in to pressure from Call of Duty players and returned Nuketown 2025 to the Black Ops 2 map rotation under a new category called “Chaos Moshpit”. It’s not quite as good as having the map back in full rotation – but it’s better than not being able to play it at all.
Activision Pulls Nuketown 2025, Enrages Black Ops 2 Fans
Activision called down the wrath of Call of Duty fans today by making the bizarre decision to pull Nuketown 2025 out of the Black Ops 2 multiplayer rotation without even sending a heads-up to players in advance. The map, which was a pre-order bonus, is simply gone.
Activision says the map will be back for “special events”. I wonder how long it will be before someone sues them? A lot of people bought the game in part to play this map.
