There’s new DLC out for Modern Warfare 3 - and it actually looks decent.
It might just be the dubstep and rapid-cut editing, but this looks a lot like Unreal. Not that I’m saying that’s a bad thing, mind you. In fact, this trailer really piques my interest.
For as terrible as the campaign is looks, multiplayer in Black Ops 2 appears to be decent.
I’m guessing that a lot of people are only going to buy this for Battlefield 4 beta access.
EA will unveil a total of three brand new titles at this year’s Gamescom according to EA CFO Kenneth Barker. That’s in addition to pumping up Dead Space 3, Crysis 3 and SimCity.
No other details are available at this time, however Gamescom is only a few weeks away. I’m hoping that they announce War Zombies Dubstep Modern Lensflare 6, myself.
Cooperative play in Far Cry 3 is a straight rip of the Left 4 Dead model. No complaints.
I haven’t been covering PlanetSide 2 on What The Christ? because I never thought it had a prayer in hell of being successful. This trailer, however, piques my interest. It could be good.

id Software is currently hiring for an unannounced next-gen console project.
One of the interesting points of the job description is that they want someone with, “Familiarity with id Software games, characters, brands and universes.” Could this be Doom IV?
Several sources are reporting today that Infinity Ward is actively working on another entry in the Modern Warfare franchise despite the fact that the main plot concluded with the Modern Warfare 3 campaign. As if that weren’t interesting enough, Infinity Ward is reportedly working on a “new high-end DX11 code base” for the game. In other words, this is a next-gen title.
It’s sounding more and more like we’re all going to have to buy new consoles in 2013.
