Instead of taking the same DLC approach as every other company, DICE confirmed plans to release three full expansions for Battlefield 3 today at GDC 2012.

Close Quarters is due in June. It’s an infantry-only expansion that intensifies combat for foot soldiers. It includes new weapons, assignments and unique dog tags.

Armored Kill is out sometime next fall. It’s a vehicle-based expansion, so you can expect to see several new tanks, ATVs, mobile artillery, and massive maps including what DICE is calling “the biggest map in Battlefield history”.

End Game, the final pack, is due out in winter. DICE declined to provide details on that, yet.
