EA Shuts Down Danger Close

EA executive Patrick Söderlund shared during an interview with Eurogamer about the Star Wars: Battlefront game DICE is working on that Medal of Honor dev Danger Close has been shut down and the team has been redistributed across studios including DICE.

This is one of the most unsurprising pieces of gaming news so far this year.

3D Realms Sues Gearbox Over Unpaid DNF Royalties

3D Realms is suing developer Gearbox over unpaid Duke Nukem Forever royalties.

In related news, Duke Nukem Forever apparently made enough money that a royalty check is due. That’s kind of amazing given that it was the biggest flop in video game history.
