Skyrim Creation Tools, “Special Surprise” Coming Tuesday
According to a recent tweet from Bethesda employee Pete Hines, we can expect to see the Skyrim Creation Kit available for download via Steam this coming Tuesday. But that’s not all! Bethesda is also releasing some sort of “special surprise”.
I’m guessing it’s some sort of free DLC designed to showcase the Creation Kit’s power.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Launch Trailer
I didn’t follow development on this one but I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
Mythos Global Open Beta Begins
The open beta for Mythos Global started yesterday. The client is available for download.
Mythos Global is a reboot of Mythos, a defunct free to play hack and slash RPG that sadly ended with the collapse of developer Flagship Studios after the total commercial failure of Hellgate: London. The franchise was acquired and revived by Hanbitsoft.

Skyrim Creation Kit, Patch 1.4 Coming Soon
Bethesda revealed this past weekend that we may see a 1.4 patch for Skyrim and the long awaited PC content creation tools as early as this week. The Steam Workshop will become the hub for hosting and distributing mods and add-ons for the game.

Dragon Age Pack For $11.99 Via Amazon
If you’re looking for a new RPG game fix, you can snag yourself a digital download code for the entire Dragon Age saga – both games – for PC or Mac for a mere $11.99 today as part of a week long EA games appreciation event happening on Amazon this week.
Note that both titles require Origin to play.
No word yet on what other games they plan to discount this week. I’m guessing that this will be a great week to snag Battlefield 3 and a few other big 2011 releases, though.
Interplay Gives Up On Fallout MMO In Legal Agreement
The details of that out of court settlement that lawyers for Interplay and Bethesda reached early last week concerning rights to the Fallout franchies are now clear: there isn’t going to be an MMO from Interplay. Period. End of discussion.
It could still happen if Bethesda decides to pursue that path – but it isn’t likely.
